At high tide the Squamish estuary is a super fun paddle through the wide open and smaller channels. We’ve seen seals, river otter, deer, bear and even a trumpeter swan in our many paddles through the area.

General Description: Bowron Lakes Provincial Park is a 150,000 ha park area famous for its unique 6-10 day canoe circuit including 10 lakes, several connecting waterways, the Caribou River and numerous portages. Reservations are required and fairly strict regulations in place to ensure the area stays pristine for future users. In our minds this is BC’s premier family-friendly freshwater canoe circuit.
